Party in San Pedro

If you are in Monterrey and you are looking for party, you are in the right place to.

Just 20 minutes from downtown Monterrey (Monterrey Centro) there's a place called "Centrito Valle", there you can find a lot of restaurants, bars and a lot of party.

One of the best things of Centrito is the security, you are gonna be in the safest place of the state (also the richest), and theres a lot of things to do when It becomes to food and party.
Theres hotels near by if your night goes out of control!

Theres place for everyone!, If you just wanna have a quiet night you have places like Maverick, Alitas and Tinieblo where you can have your dinner and maybe some drinks.

If you want something cheap and a little bit of dancing theres a place called La Barca and some Taquerias (tacos store) all over the place.

If you want a wild night We can't even count how many places there are, D club, Republica are some of them, but this kind of places you gotta be early or you may have to wait to enter (9 pm).

If your spanish is the worst here you are not gonna have troubles with it at night because the people here are so used to foreigners.

This is a must if you come to Monterrey, you won't regret!! We promise!

Remember to use a private taxi from your hotel or use Uber, there's not so many taxis available there at night.

Getting to Monterrey from Texas

Getting to Monterrey from McAllen?

Yes, you can come to Monterrey from Texas easily!.
In fact, Regios (That's how we are called) use to go to McAllen for shopping!, because it's so close to Monterrey, and most of them make it thru Bus.

If you are in McAllen Texas, you just have to go to Central Station, and ask for a bus to Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, actually there's a lot of buses from different companies, but the most convenient is Lineas Panamericanas, this company offers lunch and personal tv, and its price is about 20 dollars one way, and the time is about 4 hours.

Getting to Monterrey from San Antonio?

Maybe the cheapest way, if you are in San Antonio, there's a company that offers round trip to Monterrey for about 30 dollars!, you just have to go to Central Station and buy your tickets on the Greyhound service costumer, or on its web site. The bad thing about this is the time, it's about 8 hours from San Antonio to Monterrey but once you are in Monterrey you won't regret!.

Houston?

When it comes to flights, Houston has the cheapest flights to Monterrey, there are 2 good companies that you can fly with, for a good price, we have Interjet and Viva Aerobus,  this 2 have flights from Houston starting at 190 dollars!, so if you are from Houston or near by, you have no excuse not to come!.

If you have a question about this feel free to ask anything!

Getting to Monterrey from Mexico City

Getting to Monterrey from Mexico City (Ciudad de México/ D.F.)?

Usually, the foreigners come only to Mexico City, and if you are one of them and want to know how to get to Monterrey here are some tips:

By Air:
This is the best way to get to Monterrey, but the most expensive, and what we recommend, why? because is the fastest way!, so you may know airlines got more expensive prices on their site right?, no?, well, now you know!, one of my favorite sites to search for flight tickets is Expedia, BUT take care cause if you want to change your tickets they charge you a fine, so you may read everything in there, but if you are not the kind of people who likes to change its tickets then is okay, I use to buy my tickets there because is the cheapest way for me right now and i haven't had any problems so far.

1) You got to search for flights from Mexico City (MEX) to Monterrey (MTY).
You can find these airlines:
Vivaaerobus: cheap, but it has restrictions, take a look.
Volaris: cheap and good, We usually fly with this one.
Interjet: a little bit expensive but good.
Aeromexico: expensive and almost excellent.
Magnicharters: expensive and almost excellent.

2) Search for an hotel, again in Expedia, or in the hotel site, We recommend:
Quinta Real
NH Collection Monterrey
Safi Royal
Camino Real
City Express Plus Monterrey Nuevo Sur
All of these have an amazing location, safe and close to the best malls in the city!

3) The best way to get to the airport from your hotel to AICMX is by Taxi or Uber, PLEASE avoid to use metro!!! a lot of people recommend this but I don't, It is easy to get lost there and there's A LOT of people, if you want a safe taxi ask for one at reception ( if u don't mind to pay x2), that's up to you, I recommend Uber, easy and cheap.
Take your time, the city has a lot of traffic, and AICMX is full of people!!. It's better wait in the airport than losing you flight due to the time.

4)  Once you are in the AICMX, ask for help to find your terminal, yes, is not difficult, but just to be sure.

5)  Once you get to Monterrey, you will find a lot less people and a smaller airport but a beautiful one!, to get to your hotel you have 2 options:
     A) Airport taxis, they have a fixed rate, but it is usually high, for example, We would pay 25 american dolars to home. If you choose this option, there is at least 6 different companies, We recommend Taxis Ejecutivos (the cheaper company).
     B) Uber, the cheaper option in Monterrey, It is cheaper here than in Mexico City due to low traffic, for example we would pay 10-17 dolars to home.
